Drawings 2008-09
The works are created by applying a thin layer of resin onto an aluminum or plexiglass ground, and hand rendering drawings in ink on top of the resin. Another layer of resin is then applied over the first, with another layer of drawing. This process is repeated until there are multiple layers stacked one atop another, making a solid strata of resin in which the drawings are embedded. The works are visually very deep, usually with 15 to 70 layers of drawings, up to 2" thick.
